We are looking for a wound care APRN, PA, or physician to cover 8 weeks in our outpatient wound care clinic while our Wound Care APRN is on medical leave. We would prefer an APRN or PA, but will consider physicians as well. Preference is for one locum to provide all coverage, but would be okay to alternate coverage between 2 providers if needed.

Scope of work to include, but not be limited to:
Supervision of HBO for head-to-toe diagnosis
HBO preadmission evaluation, work-up, and clearance to start HBO therapy.
Wound debridement
Bedside incision and drainage (I&D) of abscesses
Wound VAC placement and management
Suturing and staple placement/removal
Tissue biopsies
Application of skim subs
Management of ostomies
Vascular Lymphatic workup assessment management
UPDATED Coverage Needs as of 7/7/26 – all shifts are 8am – 5pm
Week of 8/24: Monday – Wednesday coverage; This coverage would continue for approximately 6 weeks until our provider returns from leave. We anticipate Monday – Wednesday coverage would occur through Wednesday, October 7.
