Providence Dental Clinic is located in Southwest Santa Rosa and provides more than 8,000 patient visits per year for low-income, uninsured, and under-insured children ages 0-20 years of age, with a targeted effort on children 0-5 years old, and patients with special needs, and pregnant women

• Clinic opened around 1990
• Full-time position, general dentistry but the focus is pediatric patients; they do see adults on emergency
• 2 dentists currently
• 16 employees (hygienists, office staff, etc.) when fully staffed
• 25-30 patients per day in clinic
Our mobile dental clinic travels throughout Sonoma County at high-need sites providing dental care to more than 4,500 low-income persons that cannot otherwise access dental care. Mobile Dental provides dental treatment at elementary school sites throughout Sonoma County allowing greater access for children in need.
2 mobile units – dentists rotate, goes out weekly (24-26 PPD) – parked near Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital
New patient exams, cleaning, X-rays, simple extractions, etc.
Schedule: M-F 730am-4pm approx
• Experienced dentists only, mid career would be ideal
• Training: Accredited US dental schools highly preferred but not required
• No gaps in work experience
• Experience in a community clinic/rural hospital/FQHC, etc. as opposed to private practice
Preferred:
• Experience with special needs population
• Spanish speaking highly preferred
• Interest in leadership in the future
